Step 1: Giving notice of leaving

Step 2: Unregister at town hall

Step 3: Close bank account

When you leave Saarbrücken, and if you don't want to use your bank account in Germany anymore, you have to close the account. Otherwise, you will still have to pay the monthly fee.
To close your account you have to go to the bank and take your passport with you.

Step 4: End health insurance
Step 5: Close electricity and telephone account
