

The International Max Planck Research School for Computer Science (IMPRS-CS) has around 100 PhD and approximately 25 Master's students. It graduates
an average of fifteen M.Sc. and around twelve PhD students each year. Half of the M.Sc. graduates continue their studies in the PhD program.
IMPRS-CS students come from diverse backgrounds, with the largest contingent of students coming from Bulgaria, China, India and Poland. More than 60 percent of the students come from abroad.
Graduates of the IMPRS-CS typically go on to academic or industrial research positions at leading universities and research laboratories world-wide.
